The song of saint Adalbert. The tradition of the song Hospodine pomiluj ny (Lord, have mercy on us), Saint Adalbert legend and the Slavonic monastery in Prague
Slavický, Tomáš
The article deals with the reception of the oldest Czech song Hospodine pomiluj ny, which circulated as the song of Saint Adalbert. The most recent dating of the text between the 10th and 11th century solved the disputes about the age of the song and supported the earlier allegation that both the text and the melody were derived from the church slavonic version of litanies which had been used abundantly in west Europe from the 1st milleny as the standard form of the people's worship. The gathered documentation speaks about the tausend-year tradition which was accompanied by the development and varieties and which later underwent several historicizing redactions (in the 17th, 19th and 20th centuries). Continuity of the recitation cadence of the old layers of western choral music appears in the individual versions of melody and is analogous with the melodies of the traditional glagolitic chant in Croatia.

Nizamova, Kristina ; Dianová, Markéta (advisor) ; Straka, Michal (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I deal with selected cultural events, that took place within the celebrations of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV. Using them I try to evaluate economical and socio-cultural impacts of events on tourism and on the locality itself. At the same time, I want to poit out the importance of cultural events and its evaluation in the context of tourism. Impact assessment is based on interviews with six organizers of cultural events related to the anniversary. The conclusions of this work could serve both the cultural institutions that organize such events and the representatives of the public admonistration who decide on the funding of thse cultural projects.
The Ruin of the castle Dívčí Kámen
DOŠKÁŘOVÁ, Adéla
The theme of bachelor´s thesis is history and building development of South Bohemian´s castle Girl´s Stone, which is close to former Celtic oppidum in Třísov and today is town Křemže´s property. Thesis also among other things contains history about usage castle, built by brothers from Rosenberg Petr, Oldřich, Jan and Jošt ? sons of Petr I. from Rosenberg. The castle was founded in 1349, when Karel IV. granted the right to its construction to Rosenbergs brothers and they Germanized its name. Because of them is the castle also known in the sources as Maidštejn, Majdštejn or Menštejn. Already in 1541 is in the sources the castle known as uninhabitated. My bachelor´s thesis id dividend into free parts ? primeval history, medieval history and current status. In these chapters I have focused on archeological surveys in the area of the castle, its foundation, appearance of buildings, operation and management and in the last charter I had been describing how the castle looks in these days. Castle core consists from west and east palaces and its walls have been preserved, as walls of the upper castle and its economic background. But round tower standing above the river on the eastern tip of site is completely razed to the grand. Remains of several gates have been preserved, as remains of fortifications and narrow entrance corridor. Ruins of fortifications in latrán are still noticeable.
